Club Advisor: Mr. Pearson
English Teacher, Room B-40
Courtenay Shawn Pearson was born in a poor suburb of East London. His parents, working class commoners, instilled a strong work ethic and respect for authority which eventually led him to pursue a career in law enforcement. Labelled "psychologically unsound" by his superiors, Courtenay eventually emigrated "across the pond" as a result of his hatred of the British Crown, and love for Uncle Sam. An aficionado of ancient sailing techniques, Courtenay fashioned a small schooner out of toilet paper tubes and christened her S.S. Boomdaddy. His small craft eventually landed in San Diego where fell into to a career as an educator. His passions include: fox hunting, tea growing and "sticking it to the man."*
Most recently, Mr. Pearson has fallen under the sway of a group of ill repute--hooligans who have taken advantage of his rabid love for Manchester United. Under their guidance he has been known to call anyone who believes "football" an American sport a "Wanker".
*In reality, Mr. Pearson was originally born in Wisconsin but raised in San Diego. He has attended some of San Diego's finest learning institutions: PLHS, PLNU and SDSU. He enjoys diverse forms of entert ainment: music, reading, mountain biking, carpentry, movies, attending church and most notably enjoying life through laughter.
